C64 to touchscreen

This is the first release of Hollows on itch.io.!

The game started out as an attempt to bring Asteroids/Gravitar/Thrust controls to the touchscreen. (For desktop users it also supports keyboard and mouse of course.) It's a physics-based 2D shooter that recreates the fundamental gameplay of Firebird's Thrust though sadly not its maps. There's the signature weight to be carried into space by a tiny spacecraft, even a level that reverses gravity, but the game is not a port of the C64 classic.

The music may remind you of another classic of the C64 era, as will the final level.
